CLAAD’s coalition members are comprised of individuals, not-for-profits, and commercial organizations that share our values and vision. The organizations participating in the CLAAD coalition work to change policy and improve practice across numerous sectors, including health professions, law enforcement, business, and government.
Our commercial coalition members are given access to a variety of opportunities and events, including the National Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Policy Consensus Meeting. They are part of CLAAD’s network of professional associations and public health and safety organizations. Commercial partners receive networking, information sharing, planning, and results that come from the coalition’s collaboration and mutual support. Commercial partners may also support and take part in specific projects aimed at accelerating solutions to prescription drug fraud, diversion, misuse, and abuse.
By coordinating the coalition’s efforts and uniting the resources of the various entities who work to address prescription drug fraud, diversion, misuse, and abuse, CLAAD expedites solutions to the national epidemic of prescription drug abuse. Our policy analysis and coordination engage opinion leaders and decision makers in the public and private sectors.
The Center for Lawful Access and Abuse Deterrence only supports those policies and practices that are consistent with and further the objectives of our consensus-based National Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Strategy.
Organizations become a part of the CLAAD coalition because they share our commitment and want to work collaboratively to promote balanced policy solutions to prescription drug diversion, misuse, and abuse.
