Ms. McClaskey serves as CLAAD’s Policy Advisor. In this role, she formulates communications strategy and policy recommendations for the organization. Ms. McClaskey has over six years of communications experience, including working at Oxford University Press and Penguin Random House. She most recently worked at the Raben Group, where she provided insight into a variety of state and federal legislative, regulatory, and policy issues. Prior to joining the Raben Group, Ms. McClaskey worked as an intern for U.S. Senator Charles Schumer (N.Y.) and for the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Ms. McClaskey is a graduate of George Mason School of Law, where she served as the Managing & Publications Editor for the Journal of International Commercial Law. She was also the Editor-In-Chief of the law school’s newspaper, The Docket, and served as a writing fellow, teaching first year law students legal research, writing, and analysis
